I just had to create some free printable graph paper, because there are so many great ways to use it! Keep reading to find out more about graph paper and the options I have here, or scroll down to the blue links at the bottom of this post if you are ready to download the PDF file(s).
Graph paper has many names, including: squared paper, coordinate paper, grid paper, and quad paper. If you want to be fancy, it’s also known as quadrille (or quadrillé in French) paper.
The free printable graph paper in this post is essentially squared paper. Each page contains a grid of squares of equal size that fill to the margin. There are a variety of sizes of graph paper, with some of the most common being letter, A4, and A5 layouts. (I have included all three of these page sizes here for you!) The grid squares come in a variety of sizes as well. In regard to units of measure, graph paper is often available in inches if you need to use imperial measurements (typical for the U.S. and Canada) or centimeters if you are working within the metric system. The graph pages I have below include both imperial and metric units of measure.
Graph paper has so many practical and beneficial uses, including:
All of the graph paper pages I have created are available in easy to download and print PDF files. Simply scroll down to the blue links at the bottom of the page, and click on the ones you would like to save to your device. Then you are ready to print!
If you would like to print these pages for repeated use and/or to laminate, I recommend printing on heavy duty card stock or matte photo paper for the best durability.
Be sure to print at 100% scale to maintain the proper size of the squares on each page. (Avoid checking “stretch to fit,” “shrink to fit,” or “full page” in your printer settings, as these will incorrectly skew the scale of the grid.)
I have 288 graph paper options below! Don’t worry, though. The files are organized by paper size and unit of measure, so you can find exactly what you need.
Basically, determine what size paper you need first (letter, A4, or A5), and then choose the unit of measure you would like to use (inches or metric centimeters). Each PDF file contains all 12 grid styles and all 8 colors.
Feel free to download all of the options!
These files are free for non-commercial use. You may use them at home, in your classroom, etc.
